RKANALYSIS

RKANALYSIS is a 2D Frame analysis application built for Microsoft windows. This program is based on the direct stiffness method of analysis.

I have written this application following a request from one of my followers to re-design this excel application with C# programming language. The result is very satisfying.

Program features

• Plane Frame and Beam analysis: calculate reactions, Bending moments, Shear forces, Axial forces and Joint displacements
• Draw different diagrams: Bending moment, Shear force, Axial force and Displacement
• Generate analysis report
• Unlimited number of point load and uniform load on each element
• Export results as word document

Program Limitations

• The analysis is limited to structures with rigid joints
• No unit conversion is available

 Installation

Download the attached zip file containing the setup and the source code. In the setup folder, double click either on setup.exe or setup.msi and follow the instructions on the screen.
